Coaching Certification Requirements

Public Requirements for Professional Certification

To qualify for certification, applicants must meet the following standards:

  1. Hold a graduate diploma or degree from an ABA, AACSB, ACBSP, or EQUIS accredited institution in a related field.
  2. Possess a minimum of three to five years (or more) of relevant professional experience.
  3. Agree to abide by the Board’s Code of Ethics and professional conduct standards.
  4. Commit to fulfilling ongoing Continuing Education (CE) requirements to maintain good standing.

These accredited education and examination standards have been publicly disclosed and referenced on governmental and authoritative platforms for over a decade.

The LCBSI Board awards certification only to qualified graduates who meet rigorous professional benchmarks. Our standards emphasize:

  • Completion of accredited degree programs and recognized examinations
  • Alignment with government-recognized educational frameworks
  • Successful completion of exams from accredited institutions
